Run spyware scans.
Failing that let it install what it wants and then remove it properly.

May I ask the following questions?(ya know us silly tech support geeky types just have to do this.) Are you using a shortcut that was placed on your desktop or one from the start menu? Have you tried going to the actual file and running it? Have you tried repairing microsoft office by putting in the original CD and selecting repair from the choices presented? Please try the following suggestions.(we have to say that too). If you have not carried out the preceding steps do the following:
1 try running outlook by pressing windows-r to open the run dialog and typing "outlook" without the quotes and press enter. The file to run outlook is outlook.exe and this will run the program directly. If this works and does not activate the windows installer then you can creat a new shortcut on your desktop that should work correctly.
2 If this doesn't work consider repairing Microsoft office by inserting the original cd and selecting repair from the choices presented.
3 if if this doesn't work thhen I would ask you to consider uninstalling office completely, rebooting the machine and then reinstalling office. Also, when running virus or spyware scans do the following(this will require sighted assistance). Turn off system restore, booth the machine in to safe mode and run virus and spyware scans. Be sure that when you are done and reboot the machine to turn system restore back on. Have a great day. Woof, woof.
